Shipping Policy

Where we ship

All 50 states and the District of Columbia. We ship to street addresses and PO boxes.

We don't ship to APO or FPO addresses, or outside the United States.

Processing time

Orders ship within 24 to 48 business hours, Monday through Friday. Orders placed on a weekend or a holiday start processing the next business day.

Everything is made to order in small batches, so that window is production time, not a warehouse pulling a box off a shelf.

Shipping rates

Free shipping on orders over $100. Below that, your rate is shown at checkout before you pay.

Who we ship with

USPS. You choose from Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, or Priority Mail Express at checkout, and live rates for each are calculated from your address before you pay.

Tracking

You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. If you haven't received one within 3 business days of ordering, email [email protected].

Does it need special handling?

No. Our jerky is shelf stable, so it doesn't need a cold pack or expedited shipping. Once you open a bag, refrigerate it to maintain freshness.

Address accuracy

We ship to the address you enter at checkout. Double-check it. We can't reroute a package once it's in the carrier's hands, and we can't refund an order lost to an incorrect address.

Lost, delayed, or damaged packages

Once a package leaves us, transit is in the carrier's hands. If your tracking stalls or your package arrives damaged, USPS is who handles it, and a claim is filed with them. Email [email protected] with your order number and we'll give you what you need to file it, including proof of value and the shipment details.

Insurance is included on USPS Ground Advantage and Priority Mail up to the published limit, which covers the value of most orders.

Local pickup in Sacramento

Order and pay online, choose pickup at checkout, then come get it. Show your order confirmation at the counter and we'll hand it over. No shipping charge, and nothing to arrange ahead of time.

Only pick this at checkout if you can get to Sacramento. Pickup isn't shipped, so if you choose it and can't collect, we'll need to sort out shipping separately.

We make the jerky out of Bilao, our restaurant, so pickup happens at the restaurant counter. Walk in, show your confirmation, and you're out.

Orders are ready within a couple of minutes of arriving. It's a packaged product, so there's nothing to prepare. If the kitchen is slammed, give us an extra minute.

Batches are limited. If something's unavailable, it won't be purchasable. We don't take orders we can't fill. Get on the email list to know when it's back.
